The pop-culture items producer Funko and the entertainment giant Paramount Global are entering the exclusive collaboration to bring Nickelodeon's flagship Avatar cartoon universe to the web3. The partnership will result in the launch of the top-tier NFT collection titled Avatar Legends x Funko Series 1 Digital Pop! to deliver the characters from The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra series to their multiple fans in the digital format.
The extensive series of 625,000 NFTs will feature the most loved characters from both Avatar series, including Azula, Katara, Sokka, Kuruk, Painted Lady, Fire Nation Aang, and others, designed in Funco's signature bobblehead, pop-art style.
The collection will drop on August 9th exclusively on the Dropp NFT platform in a blind pack format. Thus, all participants will have an opportunity to mint a Standard Pack with 5 NFTs at $9.99 per pack and Premium Packs with 15 Digital Pop! NFTs for $29.99 apiece.
All Funko Pop! NFTs fall into eight rarity tiers: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Grail, 1 of 1, and Series.
But that's not all. Each pack provides its minter with a chance to grab one Legendary or Grail Funko Digital Pop!, which can be later redeemed for a free, limited-edition, a real-life vinyl collectible that matches your NFT, reads Funko's press release.
