An American Place is an ongoing series of images that depict the expanse of the American landscape. As a kid growing up during the troubles in Northern Ireland the only references that I had access to of America were in TV shows. I would spend hours watching classic such as Bonanza, The Waltons and Little House On The Prairie. I would dream of travelling to the great deserts and to the Rockies. As soon as I could, I headed off with my large format camera to immerse myself in a place I had become familiar with as a kid. As time goes on I will be adding more images to the collection as I make more plates during my futire travels in America.
