Who are the Alien Buddies?
The Alien Buddies are a bunch of 3,340 of an alien species who have lost their way and have been drifting around in space in cryostasis for the last 5,000 years on their mothership, only reawakening a short time ago. Feeling cold, lonely and in need of companionship, they are looking for fellow space travellers to become buddies with, so that they can share their stories and knowledge of the vast cosmos. What makes this journey SO unique? Much like how NFTs have evolved throughout the years; going from 2D pixels to 3D dynamic artwork, we want to capture this familiar feeling of evolution all of us in this NFT world can intimately relate to. The Future for Alien Buddies Hodlers - Our Gamification Our game mechanics are simple but extremely fun! Holders have the ability to send their Alien Buddies on quests to different solar systems, planets and stars in the galaxy! How often can I send my Alien Buddy on a quest? Your Alien Buddy, of course, gets worn out from adventuring too often. He also needs to refuel and resupply on provisions when he reaches his home planet. There is a cooldown on how often you can manually send them out. Cooldown for expeditions will range between 6 to 12 hours per expedition, depending on a variety of factors like NFT rarity, traits, how many you hold, etc)
