The Weeknd is an award winning musical genius based in Los Angeles, California whose real name is Abel Tesfaye. He has worked with Strangeloop Studios since 2015 and has been at the lead of releasing hits, building up a worldwide fan base, and establishing an aesthetic thread. The Weeknd was born in Toronto, Canada, in February of 1990. His first step into the musical scene was in 2011 when he released a mixtape titled, “House of Balloons”. In his career, he has collaborated with famous celebrities like Drake, Wiz Khalifa, and many more. His 2016 album that featured Daft Punk among other artists won him a Grammy which was his second after the 2015 Grammy award for his Beauty Behind the Madness album.
