Stefan Halbuer is a freelance designer, illustrator, and NFT artist who has the prowess of telling stories through his art. Stefan’s educational background is in graphic design but he had so much passion for making illustrations that decided to devote most of his time and efforts to this domain. Stefan also calls himself a creative allrounder as he continues taking on branding projects and creating editorial designs while making illustrations for the sake of art.
Stefan adores diving deep into details, thus his artworks are rich in particular features and are mainly outline-based. The artist’s pieces are also distinct with purple, a lofi vibe as well as incorporating some cyberpunk and architecture.
The artist spends lots of time collecting ideas, taking notes, and musing on future artwork. He needs to get ‘a ton of visual inspiration’ before giving birth to an idea.
In 2020 Stefan discovered the world of NFTs thanks to shoutouts of Mad Dog Jones and Victor Mosquera about it. However, he started being active in the realm in late 2020 and minted his first NFT at the beginning of 2021. Stefan shared that NFTs had a huge impact on his work and helped him to express his ideas aside from clients' expectations. The artist also likes that digital goods finally got real value thanks to NFTs and this is a breakthrough.
