Giant Swan is an Australian virtual reality painter and sculptor by the name Travis Van Zanen who came into the picture in 2017. He uses full body movements to come up with spectacular shapes and streaks of color which culminate in eye-catching pieces of art. An early career highlight for this artist is being featured in a 1 hour-long time lapse behind The Smith Street Band. After that, voices of reason from other artists who saw potential in his craft encouraged him to pursue his calling in art. Swan’s art is influenced by events in his life, hip-hop, video games, and pop culture.
In 2019, he got a chance to exhibit his work in the Greenbank Art festival at the Modern Art Museum in Shanghai. He is one of the artists who acknowledged the power of NFT spaces early enough and put his work up for sale. He currently benefits from the SuperRare, Nifty Gateway, and other NFT art platforms.
