Alexa Meade is an American artist well-known for her unique painting technique on the body of her subjects or inanimate objects. She uses the ancient Trompe technique to create optical illusions, making paintings look like 3D objects, and real-life objects look like paintings. Before her rise in the art industry, Alexa used her skills and training in political science to cover the 2008 Obama Campaign as a press assistant. Meade came to the public eyes after her paintings were featured on Jason Kottke's blog. Shortly after that, she got an invitation to an interview on CNN. Her social media page views grew to reach hundreds of thousands for the first time. Alexa has worked on paintings of musical icons Ariana Grande, Jon Boogz, and Lil Buck in her career.
To extend the blooming professional relationship, she entered the NFT space in a collaborative drop with Jon Boogz, Charles Riley, and Lil Buck. The drop was titled "Colors of Love" and debuted on the Nifty Gateway platform in the spring of 2021.
