This time around we are talking to Tonystokes69, Community Manager, Chief Stoker of getting STOKED! Longtime Snowboarder, all around shredder.
Chris: Stoke Lords NFT are digital artworks of people. These bear Californian roots. Is that correct? Please tell us more about the concept of Stoke Lords NFT.
Tonystokes69: Yes! Our founders are born and bred Cali natives! We wanted to create a project that represents California culture and style. Additionally, we are huge action-sport enthusiasts. Our whole team grew up getting barreled, chasing powder, and dropping stairs; we have not seen another project that represents the people and lifestyles we have come to love from these activities. We want to share the STOKE with the NFT community and create a fun project where fellow surfers, skaters, and snowboarders can share their sickest clips while getting people pumped on blockchain technologies.
Chris: Accordingly, the Stoke Lords NFTs are designed keeping the individuality of the people in mind. What are the important traits? How is each token different from the other?
Tonystokes69: Each Stoke Lord has explicitly designed traits to represent that character and pieces from the surf, skate, and snowboard culture. The two rarest of these traits are the zinc sunblock on the nose and a sunburn. One percent or less of Stoke Lords minted will have one of these traits.
Each Stoke Lord will also have unique skills, including critical skills like Beer Pong. The thinking here is to provide a rich set of Metadata for each Stoke Lord, which hopefully can be helpful in additional projects in the future (i.e., a Beer Pong game where you can use your StokeLord NFT to play). We also wanted to take this a step further. That is why we are introducing Personalized Metadata for each Stoke Lord.
Chris: Albeit the tokens have been designed and put out for sale, what is the purpose of the questionnaire posed at minting to each potential buyer?
Tonystokes69: As creators, we value the composable nature of NFTs and Blockchain technology in general. To add “composability” to our StokeLords, we’ve packed in Rich Metadata that goes far beyond visual traits. Our intention here is to provide sets of Metadata that future creators can build upon.
We absolutely love projects that offer a wide variety of traits. But not having any say in the customization of your NFT is lame! Minting needs to evolve into something fun and engaging. Right now, the minting experience is relatively limited to just clicking a button and approving a transaction in your wallet. The questionnaire gives the minter the power to truly personalize their NFT. This Metadata will follow each Stoke Lord from one owner to another. The choices you make at mint will make up your Stoke Lords custom skillset that will always be with them no matter where they end up!
Chris: Besides, what will be the cost of each NFT? Do you have some rare tokens as well? How will they be priced?
Tonystokes69: Our initial launch price will be set at .02ETH on Opensea.io. The rarest tokens will be Stoke Lords minted with the Zinc nose trait and/or the sunburn trait. One percent or less of the total collection will have these traits. These will be priced the same at mint as the characteristics are entirely randomized.
Chris: In addition to this, please share your minting date. Do you also have a whitelist or a presale?

Tonystokes69: I gotta say I am STOKED to be a part of this team. Our team grew up in the early 2000s in California’s epic surf, skate, and snow culture. We pay homage to our California roots with this collection. While we all do not currently reside in Cali, we have set up shop along the West Coast. Our team meets on a fairly regular schedule, but we all tend to message each other daily with some of the dankest memes. We hope others appreciate the project as much as we do so that we can continue to grow the STOKE!

As founders, we aren’t working on a long-term roadmap. Instead, we encourage people to buy into the project for the enjoyment of the art and community. We want to be careful about promising more than we can deliver, so we’re just focused on a good launch of the collection and supporting our community members.
