Art enthusiasts and sci-fi lovers will have the opportunity to own a piece of cinematic history as the legendary Alien Xenomorph sculpture, which inspired Ridley Scott's renowned 'Alien' film series, will be sold as 500 exclusive non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
This groundbreaking convergence of art, science fiction cinema, and blockchain technology will be facilitated by Particle, a pioneering fine-art platform. Established in 2020, Particle aims to democratize fine art ownership by converting acclaimed artworks into digital art. The highly coveted Alien Xenomorph sculpture, created by renowned artist H.R. Giger, will be the latest on the list to be tokenized by Particle.
Particle had previously tokenized the digital art dubbed ‘Love is in the Air’ by street artist Banksy. Holders of Banksy tokens will have the rare opportunity to purchase a portion of the Alien sculpture at a discounted price of $800, below the standard price of $1,000.
