Life is water and water is life. It is the essence of what we are and where we live. Our bodies are mostly water as are the foods we eat, the beverages we consume, and even much of the air we breathe is well moistened. Without water everything dies. Yet, year after year, decade after decade, century after century, we disregard its health and purity. We pollute the air with toxins that settle in water, discard our refuse and biological waste in it, ignore the scientists screaming their warnings, and wonder why disease is more rampant and mutation more present in all life.
To paraphrase a political genius, it's the water stupid! We are polluting ourselves to death and nature is downright pissed off at this point. If you have had your head in the sand you might have missed it but 'thousand-year' storms seem to be happening annually now. Don't see a connection? Don't be obtuse! You know as well as we all do that mankind is in an ecological prison of our own making. We can either reverse course dramatically now or there will not be future generations of humans on Earth. It is that serious and has been for some time.
