The annual, famed festival Tomorrowland has jumped on the speedy NFT bandwagon. To launch a series of tokens, bringing valuable utility to festival-goers, Tomorrowland has joint efforts with web3 company Magic Eden and the FTX NFT platform.
The Tomorrowland series of NFTs is split into 3 stages. The first collection, dubbed A Letter from the Universe, dropped earlier this year, timed to the Tomorrowland Winter 2022.
Currently, the second drop titled The Reflection of Love, inspired by the event’s mainstage theme for the Tomorrowland Belgium 2022 festival is ready to go public. The series of festivities start on July 15th, alongside the NFT sales. While all the 600,000 tickets to the Tomorrowland festival have been already sold out, the second NFT drop opens doors to bountiful perks in front of NFT holders. The top-tier perks include access to the community of festival-goers, giveaways of NFTs, and exclusive IRL products, like top-notch sparkling wine bottles or passes to the event in Brussels, a permanent ticket allowlist, and a possibility to attend secret shows and locations, and far beyond.
The Reflection of Love NFT collection will be held on the Solana-based Magic Eden launchpad, which trades over 92% of all NFT trade volume on Solana.
But that's not all. Every Tomorrowland NFT holder has a chance to assemble the so-called Medallion of Memoria. To do that, one needs to hold one NFT from each of the three collections. Medallion of Memoria owners will have to choose to either hold their Medallion and enjoy endless utility or burn it to receive the Full Madness pass for the next year Tomorrowland Belgium.
