This isn't just a collector's item; it's a journey into the soul of The Glenlivet. Each bottle, with AI-generated labels, embodies one of the twelve essential elements of the whisky’s making process. These elements are Air, Angel Share, Barley, Cooper, Copper, Distiller, Earth, Fire, Heritage, Time, Water, and Wood.
This whisky has been slumbering, patiently maturing within the Speyside distillery since 1974. Its journey began in a seasoned bourbon barrel before being transferred to a refill hogshead — where it will remain until bottling this May — to commemorate The Glenlivet's 200th anniversary.
Each bottle in the collection is priced at £34,000 ($43,000) and will be available exclusively on The Whisky Exchange Cabinet starting Wednesday, February 21.
Upon purchase on The Whisky Exchange Cabinet, holders will receive a transferable digital certificate guaranteeing ownership of their specific bottle.
This digital certificate comes with the opportunity to receive three exclusive 5cl samples of the unique whisky at ages 48, 49, and 50. Moreover, holders will receive a full bottle upon release this May.
