The Dalmore has always set the highest standards in single malt whisky craftsmanship. Recently the brand has unveiled its plans to go crypto with its Decades No. 4 Collection debut NFT. The four-piece collection will be released on the BlockBar, an NFT marketplace for luxury wine and spirits.
The four Decades single-mold whiskies from 1979 to 2000 were hand-picked by Dalmore's master distiller Richard Paterson. This release follows The Dalmore’s Decades No. 6 Collection sale in October, sold for USD 1.1 million at Sotheby’s Hong Kong.
As it usually goes with spirits NFTs, Dalmore's NFT holders acquire a decanter with a black collar and stopper, exclusive set number engravement, an authentic display, one for each decanter, and a private visit to The Dalmore’s distillery in Scotland. BlockBar will verify authenticity and ownership and store the whisky until the buyer decides to redeem it for the physical collection.
The Decades No. 4 Collection is priced at USD 137,700 and will be auctioned on December 7. One buyer will be randomly selected to be allowed to buy the NFT. Maybe it's you?
