A man who has the strange ability to see people's future in their eyes is drawn into the world of a soon-to-be famous engraver. He is asked to help her solve her own mystery but can't help but put his own insecurities into the mix.
He wandered up to the gallery on his lunch break, looking for a new experience. The gallery was like nothing he had seen before: giant angels emerging from ruined buildings, intricate portraits of women with faces that seemed to shift and change as he neared them.
