Lydia had always loved street art. The colorful murals that adorned the walls of warehouses and factories throughout her hometown caught her eye every time she walked by. When she was 16, Lydia took a trip to New York City with her friends to see the artwork firsthand. After spending a day exploring all of the city's hotspots, Lydia came across a massive wall covered in colorful murals on Roosevelt Island.
