RAF NFTs – "one of the best projects on SOL"* – is publishing their third NFT art collection: SolCandy.
RAF artist Alexander Suchy teamed up with Mexican digital artist Maria Keller, and together they created 5000 soulful and visually striking sugar skulls. Their art honours the Mexican tradition of Dia De Los Muertos (day of the dead), which will be celebrated on Nov 2nd – which is also the drop date of the collection. Minting is expected to start around 10pm UTC.
SolCandy NFTs come with a high degree of variety and a broad rarity structure (16 rarity traits / 5000 NFTs out of over 910 Trillion combinations).

The SolCandy project shows how the Rational As Fuck community continues to deliver on it’s ideas and utilities, one of which is supporting sustainability and charity. 10% of this collection + secondary market residuals will go to a mental health charity. The community of SolCandy holders will be able to suggest charities in their Discord and then decide on a particular organization via a tokenized voting mechanism.
So not only does this collection (again) push aesthetic boundaries in the context of generative NFT art, it is also a participation tool and an introduction to the journey that lies ahead of the RAF community.
