Polygon Critters is a simulation in which shapes bounce around and steal each other's edges upon collision. For example: if a square bumps a square, then one of the squares will become a triangle, and one of the squares will become a pentagon. If a triangle gets an edge stolen, that triangle disappears forever. If a 12-sided shape steals an edge, that shape will split into 2 hexagons of the same parent color.
There is a 1% chance that an offspring will be a completely random and different color from its parents. This mutation allows the simulation to run infinitely; otherwise, eventually, over a day or so, every shape would become the same color due to the ratcheting effect of the triangles not being able to come back after disappearing.
Each NFT can be different by color scheme, shape count, and shape starting location.
