The renowned brand of premium lifestyle products Ralph Lauren is expanding its ambitions and brand presence in the metaverse. Having partnered with the iconic video game Fortnite, Ralph Lauren is launching a fashion collection featuring apparel and accessories, mainly inspired by digital pieces created for the video game. 

It’s going to be a special collection at least because Ralph Lauren is redesigning its signature Polo Pony logo for the first time in the brand's history. A reimagined Ralph Lauren logo features its renowned polo player sitting on top of Fortnite’s llama logo. What’s more, the collaboration with Fortnite is the first time Ralph Lauren launches physical items along with digital ones. 

The collection of in-game clothing with a brand-new logo will feature two “Polo 1991” jumpsuits and some other digital fashion items. It will be available on November 5th, in the Fortnite Item Shop. 

Physical items such as sweaters and polo shirts, some of them also featuring reimagined logos while others inspired by digital skins on Fortnite, will also be available online on November 2nd. They will be followed by a second drop coming on December 1st to be available online and in Ralph Lauren stores. In addition, Ralph Lauren is about to gladden Fortnite fans by creating a physical replica of a boot, designed as in-game footwear. 

The prices for physical and digital pieces range from 1300 to 1500 Vbux or $10.39 to $11.99 for bundles, and from $59.50 to $188 for the physical pieces. 

Besides launching phydigital fashion items, Ralph Lauren will also organize a few activations. On November 3rd, the brand will arrange a Twitch live stream, hosted by two gamers Kelly Link and SypherPK, and featuring a performance by rapper Polo G. The next day Ralph Lauren will co-host a virtual Fortnite tournament where participants will be able to win in-game rewards such as the first access to Ralph Lauren’s outfit and item offerings. 

Adding a little couture to the metaverse, Ralph Lauren has all chances to bring it to the next level. 

The team of Ralph Lauren is convinced that the partnership with Fortnite will give a fresh take on the brand as designing items for the metaverse is the future.
