One of the latest fragrance brands to jump into NFTs and metaverse is the manufacturer of the exclusive perfume DS & Durga. Acclaimed crypto and NFT artist Fvckrender, who worked with such big names as Puma, Spotify, Instagram, and Christian Dior, is responsible for bringing DS & Durga to the web3. DS & Durga is an independent perfume manufacturer company founded back in 2017 by David and Kavi Moltz. The duo is known worldwide for “crafting scents others can only dream of.”
The exclusive partnership resulted in the creation of a blue-chip genesis NFT collection dubbed Manticore Musk. The Fvckrender x DS & Durga NFTs in the total amount of 5,555 are scheduled to drop on August 8th at 0.11 ETH. On top of that, the collection bridges IRL and digital worlds, as each 3D Manticore Musk NFT comes with a beautiful pocket-size bottle of perfume, available exclusively for the NFT holders, as the initial limited-edition initial batch sold out in no time.
According to David Molts, a self-taught perfumer responsible for the branded scent creation, all fragrances are composed of notes, just like music. Thus, both physical and digital Manticore Musk perfumes compile of four notes: base, middle, top, and ether notes, respectively.
Returning to the drop, all NFT minters will access a bunch of utilities, including virtual and IRL spaces, like, e.g., private Discord chats, perfume-scented real-life events, and Fvckrender’s upcoming LVCIDIA metaverse.
The artist has gained fame in the web3 spaces for his multiple stellar collabs and as well as successful projects of his own, like the recent top-notch The Fvck_Avatar NFT collection launched earlier this year.
These avatars give start and allow their holders to enter the highly anticipated LVCIDIA metaverse. Essentially, the 3D collectibles have “inherent utilities in the ecosystem Fvckrender is building”. Some will act as playable avatars in the forthcoming metaverse game, others, like FVCK Crystal NFT, will offer their holders pre-mint spots for the Manticore Musk NFT drop.
