In Whiskerville, quite quaint and small,
Lived Puddles, a cat not tall at all.
Sweets he craved, more than most,
Found a feast, he liked the most.
Mrs. Green's kitchen, warm and bright,
Held candy treasures, pure delight.
Lollies, caramels, peeps galore,
Puddles munched, then munched some more.
Sprawled on the floor, oh what a sight,
A tummy ache from his sweet bite.
Too much of a good thing, even candy, can lead to a sour end.
Self-portrait of myself after Easter weekend.
