Having introduced her own NFT platform last December to the public with her sensational eyes non-fungible tokens, Melania Trump announced to drop arts regularly and perfectly keeps her promise. The new NFT Collection features a digital piece, a physical artwork, and a physical accessory. The three lots will be put up for auction, starting January 11 with a floor bid of $250,000.
You might have already guessed? Well, perhaps you have, as you can hardly find at least one single person in the US who would not be aware of the former First Lady's iconic white hat. French designer Hervé Pierre exclusively custom-designed and fashioned the hat for Melania. Back in 2018, together with Former President Donald Trump, she welcomed French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte to the White House. “Mrs. Trump recognized this important moment for the country, and accordingly, a great deal of consideration went into the planning.”
Alongside with the only one-of-a-kind hat, which was crafted from the same crepe fabric as her Michael Kors suit, and fabricated in New York City. The same as the previous NFT, drop #2 will be launched in partnership with fashion artist Marc-Antoine Coulon and will include the creator's water-color physical paintings, and other items.
Melania shared that her project “will provide students with a range of technology skills to prepare them for the workforce.” She added, “I am excited to inspire America’s next generation of entrepreneurs.”
