This project is part of a series inspired by the history of ascii art. The relationship between text and image is multi-layered. Like many, I use code to generate imagery, but it is not drawn not to an html canvas. Instead, it is written(as text) to an HTML "pre" element using slashes, backslashes, and underscores. Sometimes the three-dimensional objects represented are words. Sometimes they are forms without names. The way language organizes and makes sensible space and physical reality is central in these works.
