I use the gelatin monoprint to explore what happens when color has nowhere to go but through. Built through vertical pulls, each work compresses pigment into dense, luminous fields. There is no excess space—only the tension of texture, mark, and stripe pushing against the edge.
These are prints of persistence. A study in how visibility is claimed, not given. How light persists even when the field is scarce.
