“Escultura Boceto II” is a visual journey into the reinterpretation of the human figure and the interplay between geometry and emotion. While working on this piece, I aimed to explore the disconnection between three-dimensional forms and their two-dimensional representation, using lines and curves to bring to life a figure that challenges traditional laws of proportion.
In this sketch, the architecture of the space also plays a significant role: the background planes suggest a constructed environment, while the vibrant colors and textures evoke a contrast between the organic and the structured. I sought to give movement to a static form, playing with openings and volumes to reflect dynamism, strength, and a certain vulnerability.
This piece is a conversation between cubism and my own contemporary perspective, an ode to the expressive power of lines and abstraction.
