As part of the five-day Miami-based celebration, dubbed The Gateway: A Web3 Metropolis, the history-making auction house Christie's and its newly-launched NFT subdivision Christie's 3.0 are launching a luxury digital artwork auction.
The second-ever sale via Christie's 3.0 NFT marketplace, dubbed Next Wave: The Miami Edit, is composed of 15 artworks by the most prominent digital artists of modernity. The auction starts on November 30th and will be running up to December 7th. Currently, everyone willing can place their bids for the highly-curated NFT artworks, headlined by the piece titled Mother Flock from the Life In Our Minds NFT collection. This artwork is a result of joining the creative minds of three eminent representatives in the space, including post-digital art group Random International, Ukrainian-born artist Danil Krivoruchko, and a Tokyo-originating creative head Masahiro Hiramoto. The animated ’Life in Our Minds: Mother Flock’ NFT is estimated at a hopping 80-100 ETH, with a lower bid starting from 80 ETH.
All attendees will be able to interact with the artwork and influence its evolution, namely to manipulate the flocks of bird-like origami figures that make up Mother Flock. This experience symbolizes endless creativity and opportunities for NFT artists.
Alongside the centerpiece in the sale, the current Christie's auction features the following lots:
The lowest bids for the above-mentioned artworks start from 4-6 ETH and reach up to 100 ETH.
