When you're from the Caribbean, there's a shared vibe that connects us all. We are family and community-oriented, sociable, warm, selfless, with a carefree vibe, a solid work ethic, who make friends wherever we go, friends that you know your whole life who become like siblings, even with all our own quirks and idiosyncrasies but always connected.
They’re the ones you meet on your block, in school, through mutual friends, at work. You go on adventures together, like the same music, laugh at the same things together, and are all characters who bring out a different side of our personalities, who you just look at and know what the other one's thinking. Cardano Amigos are those friends!
Cardano Amigos has 5 planned collections. We came out with Mango in July of this year. We chose him as our central character, cause he has so many qualities that are important to us. In his group of friends, Mango is the expressive, emotional one; the social go-getter everyone wants to be around that brings everybody together.
Mangoes are the ultimate social ice breaker and a way to befriend others and be neighborly. Mango season in Miami, there isn’t a shortage of family, friends, neighbors, or co-workers who show up with grocery bags full of mangoes to give out so they don’t go bad rotting on the ground. It bonds people and brings the community together!
In a similar way, we want to build and be a part of a community that has that vibe -- coming together joined by our shared love for crypto, investing, and helping to solve global problems. Check out our website and roadmap for more info on what's to come!
With our 2nd drop on Friday, December 10th, we have Tabaco! Tabaco’s a little shady, a little inappropriate but he’s the kind of friend that is down for anything and will leave you laughing until you run out of air and your face and stomach hurt. With 10 Arquetipos and 10 Attributes, you'll get a uniquely generated character of different Tabaco arquetipos you meet along the way in any given neighborhood in Miami. Collect them, post it as your profile pic to show your love for our community, because you think it's cute, or as an investment!
With proceeds, we raise from the sale of Tabaco we have specific goals in mind to continue to develop and grow Cardano Amigos which include:
Hiring a 2nd artist - We are a husband and wife team and are doing everything ourselves. We need help!!!
Hire a 2nd dev - We've improvised and asked for help along the way and aligned ourselves with people who know what's going on, and we've been successful in figuring things out but it's time to hire someone at this point who knows more than we do about this!
Fund an arts + tech incubator space to mentor and develop talent in the NFT space. We've been talking for the better part of at least the last decade of wanting to give back and we always envisioned an arts + tech maker space and the NFT space presents the perfect amalgamation of both. And we want to mentor and develop that to continue to bring along others and create opportunities for our community to grow and thrive! It always has been a far-off into the future kind of thing but we can't keep putting it off. The time is now to make this happen!
And finally we want to roll out a line that includes swimwear of all the amigos and cigars.
