This work presents the figure of the plague doctor, a historical symbol laden with meaning, fused with a dreamlike atmosphere. The connection to dreams is manifested in the ethereal atmosphere that envelops the figure, as if emerging from a state between wakefulness and sleep. Conceptually, the doctor represents disease and fear, but also hope in crisis. In the context of dreams, he symbolizes unconscious fears and the subconscious's attempt to confront them. The mask with its long beak acts as a filter between reality and the dream world, suggesting a distorted interpretation of the profound. Technically, the work employs a stark contrast between light and shadow, creating a sculptural effect. The palette of dark and cool colors, mixed with warm tones, reinforces the contrast between the terrifying and the human. Overall, it is a dialogue between history, symbolism, and the subjective experience of dreams.
