The rise of the BattleKongs BattleKongs is a decentralized network of casual play-to-earn games connected through a DeFi metagame built on Solana.
The vision
Our vision is to build a decentralized network of fun casual play-to-earn games that are connected through a DeFi metagame. Think DeFi meets Mario Party and Zynga. DeFi metagame The idea behind the metagame is to introduce DeFi features more directly in a strategy game to the BattleKong metaverse. The genesis NFTs we launch are the keys to unlocking it. To advance in the metagame players need to collect NFTs (e.g. tribes, outfits, gear, land, etc.) through mints, marketplace purchases, or playing the P2E games. NFTs have to be staked, burned, broken apart, or used for crafting to gain an advantage in the DeFi game.
Casual P2E games Casual games provide a unique entry point for normies to play-to-earn gaming (and by extension to a DeFi metaverse). Players are already used to mechanics such as grinding for coins, using and replenishing energy (often for money), and purchasing gear (with or without utility to get ahead in the game). Above all, they are easier to build and more approachable for acquisitions allowing the BattleKongs DAO to fast-track growth of the ecosystem. We want BattleKongs to be open for any game to join, whether our DAO owns it or not. Once we established a solid technological base, we will release a BattleKongs SDK to allow any game to hook into the metaverse. First Mint Gorillas have SuperKong strength and SuperKong resistance, if you need brutal force, they are the Kongs you are looking for. They try to show its dominance by imposing their size and strength to smaller Kongs.
