Over 60 years after the last F1 race followed by a pompous return in 2021, Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One (AMF1) is back on the track again with “the biggest-ever rule-change in F1 history.” The AMR22, the Aston Martin team’s latest race car set to attend the 2022 FIA Formula One World Championship, has undergone massive improvement due to major changes in regulations. Thus, the AMR22's front wing, steering wheel, rear wing, and halo were remastered to make competitors bite the dust.
To celebrate the remarkable engineering marvel, Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One (AMF1) has partnered with the Crypto.com platform for a never-before-seen NFT drop. The collection will consist of digital renders featuring individual components from AMR22, allowing collectors to immerse into the F1 universe.
Before heading right to this year's drop, it's worth noting that about 1 year ago, Aston Martin and Crypto.com launched the first 5-piece NFT collection to mark the Grand Prix 2021 race. The drop then managed to collect a whopping $2 million. On top of that, Crypto.com's officials announced that each holder of the 2021 AMF1 NFT would be airdropped one of the upcoming collectibles “as a special thank-you.” That's why the participants of the previous year's drop can count on a free AMR22 NFT.
So, returning to the upcoming collection, being no less outstanding, the AMR22 NFTs are inevitably doomed to success. The tokens by AMF1 offer Formula One fans an in-depth look into the new vehicle's historic upgrades while Crypto.com will host the event again.
The AMR22 NFT collectibles will fall into three tiers: Accelerate, Slipstream, and Velocity. Each token treats its holder to outstanding rewards of different value. Those collectors who'll be lucky enough to mint all four component NFTs will be allowed to own an additional asset of the full AMR22 model.
