We are sitting down with Mr. Misang today — an artist who designed the entire GhostsProject. Mr. Misang has built up his career over 10 years as a freelance illustrator/animator. He has produced illustrations and animations for the likes of Samsung, Hyundai Motor Company, Riotgames, Bighit ent and many more. He made his debut in the NFT scene earlier this year with his original series ‘Modern Life is Rubbish(MLIR)’ on SuperRare. Based on this original series, he has expanded his work through diverse platforms such as Niftygateway, Klipdrops, and etc. Ghostproject is also a part of the MLIR universe.
Chris: The NFTS look spooky and sounds high-tech. How does it work following the movement of the user's face, head, and mouth?
Mr Misang: It’s the first pfp that is natively supported by MYTY camera. MYTY camera reads user’s facial expressions and body movement using webcam and reflects aggregated information to the avatars. MYTY also uses an infrastructure called Virtual Camera which connects to any webcam-based applications such as Discord, Zoom, YouTube and Twitch.
Chris: Furthermore, what is the MYTY app? How does it assist live tracking?
Mr Misang: MYTY Camera app is the first app in the MYTY ecosystem that gives LIFE to NFT avatars. There will be more apps in the ecosystem developed by OFF and 3rd parties to give various utility to NFT avatars.
Chris: What is cool about buying GhostsProject? Alternatively, what does a buyer get apart from the NFT?
Mr Misang: Ghosts(NFT) will be new personas of their holders. Ghosts can be used as a new social identity in the metaverse using MYTY-powered apps such as MYTY Camera.
Moreover, Ghosts are residents of Mr.Misang’s universe. For instance, all ghost holders can select a random text which is recorded on the Ethereum blockchain. Each action that the ghost holders make will shape Mr Misang’s universe. Therefore, we sincerely hope that each holder will be able to create a unique story as a participant of Mr Misang’s universe.
Chris: What should I do now to participate in the Presale? How much is the gas fee associated with the NFT?
Mr Misang: We are distributing Presale tickets through several events.
- Referral event : Earn miles to get ticket
- Twitter event : Mr Misang is going to post some tweets with tasks. Community members are encouraged to reply to his tweet including the output of the tasks inside.
- Discord meme contest : Upload creative memes in the Discord meme channel. Mr Misang will draw winners and give tickets respectively.

Mr Misang: The mint price of both the presale and public sale are 0.1ETH.

Chris: Apart from the sale of the NFT, what else is on the blueprint for GhostsProject? How does it move forward?
Mr Misang: In an artistic aspect, GhostsProject is one of Mr Misang’s many works such as ‘Modern Life is Rubbish’ or ‘Crevasse’. GhostsProject will also acquire greater value and significance based on Mr Misang’s work expansion in the future.
‘Memory’ can be selected in the memories page of the homepage once public sale comes to an end. Some randomly generated texts + phrases related to the story + replies from the twitter event participants will be stored in the memory pool. Some of the holders that select memory may receive ‘fragments’ which are randomly distributed. A fragment is a single cut taken from an original comics comprising of about less than 200 cuts in total.
Ghosts can be used in zoom, discord, youtube, twich, and various other platforms through the live tracking technology of the MYTY Camera app. The beta will kick off in early 2022 and gradual updates will be made along the way.
Chris: How did Mr Misang and you come up with the idea of this NFT? Who else is on the team and how do they work towards GhostsProject NFT?
Mr Misang: MrMisang and the Off team had the similar vision about the social metaverse where people can play around without having to use their physical appearances. Off was developing a face tracking application for NFTs and MrMisang was doing a sketch of his own PFP project. After we met at the HanDAO meeting, we were instantly convinced that creating a PFP project that natively supports face-tracking is the way to go.
