Chris: BadassNinjas. The characters look interesting – what inspired this project?
Badass Ninja team: We have been big anime fans for years and were influenced in our childhood by series like Dragonball, Inuyasha, One Piece, but especially Naruto.
We have looked for months in advance hundreds of NFT collections and found that it is always only about monkeys.
For this reason, we decided to implement our great affection for anime characters as nfts. The task now was to determine the look but also the specific theme of the character. Since our team shared a passion together and that was Naruto, the theme of ninjas was very quickly declared our favorite.
However, we wanted to create our own brand, a special trait that would make the character unique in personality. That's how we came up with the idea of "Badass".
So our 2 artists animated a character, which from the physique, as well as from the facial features of the motto "Badass" was just. That's how the project "Badass Ninjas" came to life. Our NFTs consist of 2D animated portraits, as well as 3D animated mystery boxes.
Chris: Tell us more about the team – the people behindBadass Ninja. How did you come together?
Badass Ninja team: We are a team of 5 people. Founder, Co-Founder, 2 Artists and 1 Developer.
Together with a very good friend, but also business partner for years, the project Badass Ninjas was born. We are the heart of the project. Our 2 artists, who are responsible for the characters and the designs of our website, we met via external job search. This is now a few months ago and also here a good friendly, as well as business relationship has developed.
Our developer, to say the "brain" of the team, we got to know from well-known crypto projects. It is important to understand that my personality (Founder), as well as my partner ( Co-Founder) have been active in the cryptocurrency market since 2016, and we have been able to build a good network of very talented people over the years. That's how the contact with our dev came about.
Chris: The first drop is between 25 Jan – 1 Feb right? How manyNFTs will be sold and what’s the minting process? Is there a whitelist?
Badass Ninja team: Our presale will take place on February 27th, at 20:00 UTC. From this time on, all users on the whitelist can mine up to 5 NFt's on our website.
Our maximum supply is 7777. The number "7", is always found throughout the project. In the presale, there will be 777 whitelist spots and there will be 3000 NFT's allocated for the presale. We have put a lot of thought into the whitelisting process, how to make it fair and equitable for all members.

Chris: How about those big balls? Are there any interesting partnerships that you have established or are looking to pursue?
Badass Ninja team: Indeed. Our team has over 10 years of experience in online marketing and excellent contacts with influencers, youtubers, but also with NFT relevant websites. We have divided our marketing budget in different cycles, for the presale phase. So that we will be very present on NFT Calander pages, but also on Youtube, as well as Instagram and Twitter. We also have solid partnerships with NFT Youtubers, who have a reach of 85,000 subscribers, as well as 65,000 subscribers.
Chris: The giveaways caught my attention. ETH, airdrops, luxury travel and 750$ passive income for 6 users? That’sa lot. How are the winners selected?
Badass Ninja team: Our goal is to build a strong community. That's why we want to give back to them as much as possible. We have thought of special gifts that we can give away to our members.
Besides NFT Airdrops, there will be luxury trips but also a passive income in the form of ETH for 6 months. The NFT airdrops, as well as the luxury trips, will be drawn at random within a giveaways contest. For the passive income we have thought about rewarding the most active holders.
So there will be 1*250$ , 1* 500$ and 1*750$ for 3 holders ,6 months, who bought the most nfts in the presale.

Chris: Can you elaborate on some of the interactions that occur inside the community? For instance, the activities between members, the decision making process etc. Do the different traits and levels have an impact on these interactions?
Badass Ninja team: Our goal is to build a real community. Which feels comfortable and also realizes that their opinion is valued. Therefore, we have set ourselves the task of building the whole project in the long term in the form of a DAO. So that we as a team work very transparently and discuss all important updates, as well as ideas, together with the community.
The community can then vote on the development of the project. We want to build this as fairly as possible. However, we also want to reward the holders who have a large number of Badass Ninjas. So in the future it will be possible to vote on the basis of his NFT balance.
Chris: What’sthe timeline for the 3D Ultra Realistic NFT Drop?
Badass Ninja team: We are already in very good contact with a large games studio and have already designed detailed concepts. So that is already working in the background on the new collection. Since this collection will have an incredible quality, a large team of designers is needed. The rendering of the Ultra Realistic characters alone takes a lot of time.
However, our deadline has been set at 3 months. So you can expect the new collection on May 2022. We will of course keep our community up to date and provide some insights about the creation of the new collection. However, those who already own NFT's from our current collection will be considered positively and have a high probability of being whitelisted for the new drop.
