An Obscenely Rare Bored Ape NFT Went One-Hundredth Price Due to a 'Fat-Finger' Lapse

The Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs are among the world's most valuable crypto art pieces and one of the best investment tools so far. Each Bored Ape was destined to be listed for 75 ETH — which by today’s price is about $300,000 — but NFT holder Max made a fatal error by setting a price of 0.75 ETH, which is equal to about $3000!

"I instantly saw the error as my finger clicked the mouse but… it instantly sniped before I could click 'Cancel' - and just like that, $250,000 was gone," Max explained.

The lucky buyer spent a total of 8.75 Ethereum, or just under $35,000 to benefit from Max's attention lapse. This error hurts even more than wrecking a new sportscar right after you leave the dealership. But that's how it works - when it is lacking here, it's bound to be vise versa elsewhere.
