The first time I ever saw primitive folk art was in a small shop in a small town. I was on vacation with my family and we were just walking around, looking in all the little shops. This one shop in particular had the most interesting paintings on the walls. They were all done in a very primitive style and they were all of different. I remember thinking how beautiful and unique they were.
