Close your Eyes explores the artist's dreams as ambitions, inhibitions, anxieties, and mental explorations. In producing the imagery, Whatisiana aims to portray these feelings so they might manifest and burst forth into reality. The alternative would be to repress and implode.
While many artists portray their perspective from within a dream, in this three-part exhibition, Whatisiana slowly comes to terms with the reality of dreams after wrestling with their abstract nature.
