Renowned graffiti writer and street artist Alexandre Farto aka Vhils releases his debut NFT Collection on Nifty Gateway. Titled ‘Rust Belt’, it drops on June 23rd.
Vhils is an artist famous for his signature carving technique. Being an avid experimenter, he works with various mediums and tries different techniques. Stencil painting, metal etching, pyrotechnic explosions, video and sculptural installations – his scope of artworks is huge.
Vhils can be boldly called a contemporary urban archaeologist. He always digs into the surface layers of our material culture, exploring and exposing what lies beyond the superficiality of things.

‘Rust Belt’ NFT Collection by Vhils features 10 NFT pieces. Vhils has applied his method of creative destruction to make NFT artworks. Each artwork works together to tell the overall story of 'Rust Belt'. There are two Editions of 5, an Edition of 25, and Edition of 10, an Edition of 1 as well as one artwork that will drop as a 5-minute Open Edition.
